Butterfly on Flower



Mix media.  I pour watercolor washes on the background and let dry.  Then went in with watercolor crayons
and drew the flowers and butterfly.  Boosting the colors with glazes.
On 300 pd watercolor paper  12" by 10"

Butterfly



Have Watercolor class tomorrow.  This will be my demo this month.  All of the class wanted to do a butterfly.
Size is 9" by 12"  Watercolor with watercolor crayons.

I was happy to have a real fencer pose for me and the rest of the girls in our figure drawing class.  I made up the back ground and won my TWS ... Texas Watercolor Society initials, with this painting.  Carole Berry

"Snoozing on a summer day"........Found this fox in a zoo on a log and tons of cement around him  .  So I made up the background.  Used Watercolor for the back ground then created rocks and trees with various papers and glue them on.
Used watercolor to finish the rock and tree look.  Was a fun thing to do and my first try at Collage.   I think the fox would of prefer this setting instead of the one he was in.   This painting is SOLD
