Local Color had me in for another Watercolor Class.  Had tons of fun as usual.  Great bunch of gals.
We did birds. Each pick a bird to paint.  Not bad gals!     Dry on Dry.   Watercolor 9" by 8"  Demo

 

I like the Hawk but wanted to do a black and white with limited color.

Have a show coming up in May in West Texas and wanted something different to show this year.

I am a member of the Caboose Watercolor Society and we all decided to paint the masters.  I choose Andrew Wyeth because he did a lot of limited color and black and white studies.  Since I love tons of color in everything I paint this was a challenge.

While in the local Park I came across a hawk.  He stay there for 20 min.
while I took picture after picture.  Pretty hawk.  He didn't seem afraid of
me.  But I had interrupped his nap and he was tired of me and left.
Had fun painting him.  Enjoy 8-)
